Every afternoon, we host a happy hour where we serve free drinks to our guests. And the $8 bottles of artisan water in hotel minibars? Not here. Bottled water in your suite is free, too.
We host wine tasting, chocolate tasting, rum tasting, and painting classes that you can attend for free.
You can use kayaks, bicycles, and paddleboards for free. You can use our on-site gym, or a nearby larger gym or Crossfit box for free. Prefer yoga? You can attend yoga class at Zen Belize every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at no charge.
Your kids can use The Phoenix Nest Kid's Club for free. We also do face painting for the kids for free. And all guests, young and not so young, are invited to s’mores for free.

Red Ginger: Innovative Dining on Front Street
Red Ginger is open from 7am to 9pm, every day serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner in an air-conditioned main dining room or on our garden patio. Guests can enjoy room service or food and drinks around the pool too. We serve a special brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays. And we offer a full coffee program from Green Espresso and wines from Wine de Vine.
Sol Spa: An Elevated Wellness Sanctuary in San Pedro
One of the best reasons to stay at The Phoenix Resort is Sol Spa, our terrific on-site spa. Sol Spa offers therapeutic, sports, deep tissue, and Maya abdominal massages, as well as a variety of body treatments and scrubs, along with manicures, pedicures, facials, and more. Massages are available in one of Sol Spa’s treatment rooms, in-suite, or poolside. Having Sol Spa at The Phoenix Resort is great for those celebrating a Belize honeymoon or anniversary, or anyone just wanting to relax and take some me time for themselves on a family or friend vacation. The Phoenix Nest: Complimentary Kids Club in San Pedro
The Phoenix Nest is our complimentary Kids Club for Phoenix guests ages 4 to 12. Children younger than 4 can attend accompanied by a dedicated babysitter, which The Phoenix can help arrange. The Kids Club is open daily and offers a variety of fun and educational activities. Our goal is to entertain children and teach them about Belize while providing their parent(s) the opportunity to go out on the water, indulge at Sol Spa, relax and lunch by the pool--in other words, a real vacation.
A Central, Walkable Location in San Pedro Town
You’ll love our central location, a short walk to the best food, drink, and local arts of San Pedro. No water taxis or expensive cab rides necessary. You don't need to rent a golf cart to go places. And yet, when you're poolside or in your suite, you'll feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, and that is a great feeling.
Space & Privacy: Your Quiet Oasis in the Town Center
Offering larger suites and fewer of them giving our guests more privacy, more resort amenities, fewer visitors, better service, and a better vacation. That leads to great word of mouth and more guests, but not all at the same time, because we have fewer suites.
Two Heated Saline Pools: A Tropical Oasis in San Pedro
At the center of the resort is a beautiful heated saline chlorinated main pool. It offers an upper level with an infinity-edge waterfall that flows into a spacious lower level. There is also a separate heated saline lap pool adjacent to our Pool Bar. Saline pools--also known as saltwater pools--have the salinity of a teardrop and are gentler on the skin. The Phoenix is one of the only resorts in San Pedro or on Ambergris Caye to offer multiple pools, saline pools, or heated pools, which all benefit our guests and make for a more enjoyable stay at our resort.

Adjacent to Sol Spa is our fitness center, which has a Peloton bike (bring your own shoes!), Concept 2 rower, multiple treadmills, elliptical machines, exercise bicycles, dumbbells up to 50lbs, flat benches, and additional equipment. For more exercise options or people interested in group classes while on vacation in Belize, we also offer complimentary passes to a nearby larger gym and separate Crossfit box to give our guests many different vacation exercise options while enjoying their stay at our resort.
