This
rendering focuses on the redesigned pools of The Phoenix.
Our pools were
completed in March 2008. In addition, more
up to date pictures of the pools and grounds are
also available online.
In the forefront is The Phoenix's Main Pool. This pool will
has two tiers. The upper tier is approximately 4' in depth
and also contains shallow areas for multiple beach chairs.
There is an infinity edge where the water from the upper
pool that flows via an angled waterfall into the lower pool.
The lower tier is 2' to 3' in depth. There are also waterfall
spouts along the southern wall of the lower pool.
The pool contains benches for relaxing half in and half
out of the water underneath the infinity edge waterfall
as well as along the western edge of the upper pool. There
are three Venetian staircases in the main pool which provide
pleasant descents into both pools and additional lounging
areas at various depths.
The Main Pool also features a spacious pool deck. Beach
chairs will be placed all along the northern edge of the
pool, which can be seen at right in this rendering. There
will also be a large grass and sand area in front of the
lower tiered pool for people to relax on using beach chairs
or towels. At left in this rendering is a shaded sitting
area outside of the pool that features a U-shaped bench
and beautiful Caribbean views.
The structure above the upper tier of the pool is the Pool
Bar. From this bar guests of The Phoenix will be able to
order food and drinks, as well as pick up fresh towels,
reading materials, and other items. There will be a few
bistro tables and chairs set up in front of this area as
well.
The features of the Lap Pool seen at the very top of this
rendering are explained on this
page.
