This rendering focuses on the Restaurant and Lobby Building at The Phoenix. Construction of this building is now underway.

This building will house the resort's Restaurant & Bar, Roof Deck Bar, Health & Fitness Center, Spa, Business Center, Yoga Studio, and Lobby. The building will be two stories in height is being constructed on the southwest corner of The Phoenix's property facing Pescador Drive, or Middle St.

This perspective features the western face of the building. Its design provides an introduction to the modern architectural style and geometric lines of The Phoenix's residential buildings. This building will also be gradually stepped back, so that each section moving right from left is further away from the main road. This will result in a natural progression towards the entrance to the resort, through the Lobby seen at left. This will also create a pathway for taxi's and golf carts to pull up to pick up and drop off guests of the resort.

Some of the walls of this building will be finished with the same cream colored acrocrete found on the residential buildings. The center sections will be finished in coarser natural stone to create a contrast in textures. Each of these sections will be separated by columns of glass block which at night will illuminate the building into seemingly separate masses standing side by side. Our goal is to create a building that speaks the same language as our larger elegant residential buildings, but with an understated grandeur appropriate for our location in San Pedro.
