How
about a lot of both? Luckily, whether you want to unwind or explore, or
enjoyably balance the two, Ambergris Caye is the ideal locale. Just off
the coast of our property lies Belize's 175 mile-long Barrier Reef—the
second longest in the world—which provides some of the best snorkeling,
scuba diving, and fishing in the Caribbean. The close proximity and beauty
of Belize's Barrier Reef is a major reason why more and more people have
discovered Ambergris Caye over the past 20 years.
Adventures Along the Reef
One
of your many options is to visit Shark Ray Alley and safely snorkel with
sting rays as wide as your wingspan and nurse sharks as large as a person.
Another option is to spend hours snorkeling or scuba diving in the five
square mile-wide Hol Chan Marine Reserve, where thousands of fish congregate
among the coral of the reef in a colorful underwater environment. If you’re
new to scuba diving, you can get certified at one of the many local dive
shop. Ambergris Caye boasts the largest collection of experienced dive
guides in all of Belize who will be happy to show visitors the ropes.
If you’re a seasoned pro, there are many different dives at various
depths that will provide months, even years, of exciting diving. One popular
option is The Blue Hole, acclaimed by Jacques Cousteau to be one of the
top five dive sites in the world, which can be visited on a day trip from
San Pedro.
If you'd rather explore the water from above, there are boat and catamaran charter companies available to take you fishing or sight-seeing in the lagoon, along the reef, or beyond the reef. Kayaking, Wind Surfing, and Jet Skiing are some of the other activities easily available to you, whether you’re a first-timer wanting to learn or a veteran looking for a new challenge.

just minutes away, we will be sure to make staying in touch or in shape

of an exclusive beachfront resort with proximity to the charming town
of San Pedro. We are situated on a long stretch of beachfront at the northern
edge of town. Walking from our private location along the beach or main
road will bring you into the heart of San Pedro in minutes, full of restaurants,
bars, cafes, clothing boutiques, grocery stores, produce markets, and
many different arts and crafts vendors. We encourage visitors to San Pedro
