The Phoenix Restaurant & Lobby Building - Mid May 2008
The first floor walls of the Restaurant and Lobby Building were recently completed.	This is where the lobby of The Phoenix is being built.
The walls were put up in about 10 days.	Here is the interior portion of the restaurant of The Phoenix.
These construction materials presently occupy the area where there will be outdoor seating for the restaurant in a courtyard.	The restaurant and lobby both have large windows and doors that face the courtyard.
A Maya-temple inspired staircase will lead Phoenix guests to an outdoor roof deck bar, a health and fitness center, and a spa.	Here is part of the west face of the Restaurant and Lobby Building that will be stepped back and face Middle Street.
The lobby seen here will be the main entrance to the resort. Large planters will be built on either side of the main doors.	Here is the restaurant of The Phoenix taking shape looking towards the residential buildings of the resort.
Our crew is presently constructing the beams that will sit on top of the concrete block walls and form a major part of the second floor slab.	Later this month after the beams are poured we will begin laying the T beams and bovadilla styrofoam panels across them.
