Here
are the pools and property of
The Phoenix in late February 2008.
Here is a perspective of the
pools looking out from Building B.
About
70% of the main pool has been tiled.
The
remainder of the main pool
will be tiled over the next seven days.
Here
is the main pool of The Phoenix viewed from Building C.
This
is another perspective of the main
pool and Caribbean beyond from Building C.
There
will be a large infinity edge waterfall bringing water from
the upper level of the pool to the lower level. There is also
a bench
being built next to this waterfall that will provide another place
to relax.
Here
is the U-shaped sitting area along the south edge of the
lower pool that will provide a shaded area for relaxing poolside.
The
lap pool of The Phoenix features built in seating that will make
the
pool another place for people to relax when it's not in use for
exercise.
Here
is the poolside bar being built between the pools.
This
another perspective of the bar. This area will serve drinks, provide
towels, and be able to place food orders with the onsite restaurant.
The
two pools of The Phoenix are
scheduled to be completed by mid March 2008.
This
is the one of the many spacious sun decks
being built adjacent to the main pool of The Phoenix.
This
picture captures the finished detail of the pool deck. River stones
have been set in yellow-dyed cement in lines around the 4' by
4' pavers.
This
is the seawall of The Phoenix in the process of being rebuilt.
Its width & height have been increased and it has been re-enforced
in many places.
Our
crew will next begin finishing the sea
wall in the same manner as our pool deck.
Pictured
here is the southernmost 25% of the sea wall that is also
being rebuilt. This perspective captures how much higher and wider
we are making the new sea wall, which will much better protect
the
property in the event of storm surges and be more pleasant to
walk on.
This
is the wall that will provide security and privacy along
the western border of the property. It was recently painted.
On
the inside of this wall behind Building B
many trees and other greenery will be grown.
This
picture captures some of the local
wildlife on the property of The Phoenix.
