The Phoenix Stainless Steel Handrails - April 2008
In March of 2008 the stainless steel components of the handrail
system for each second and third floor Phoenix condo were installed.
The system consists of 10 stainless steel posts bolted into each condo's veranda and 10 stainless steel cables threaded through the posts.
The system was custom built and design to provide security while
not blocking the beautiful views or the cooling tropical breeze.
The final part of the system is a wooden handrail that will be
installed along the top of the posts during the next couple of weeks.
Here are the handrails of residential
Building C of The Phoenix in early April 2008.
The handrails of Building B were also
completed during the past couple of weeks.
All of Building A's second and third floor
condos have also had their handrails installed.
This is the view looking through the handrails of third
floor condo A12, which is presently still available for sale.
Pictured above are the handrails for third floor condo B5.
From further back the stainless steel cables threaded
between the stainless steel posts become largely invisible.
Here are the handrails of third floor condo C6 along
side the shade provided by the condo's wooden pergolas.
These are condo C4's handrails along with the
finished handrails of condo D3 in the distance.
Above are the stainless steel handrails of third floor condo C5.
Both the stainless steel and wood components of
residential Building D's handrails have been completed.
The wood trim along the top of the handrail mimics the look
and the feel of the wooden pergolas above each third floor condo.
Viewed in tandem, the handrails and pergolas help give the
cream-colored residential buildings of The Phoenix their character.
